Building Indiana News wins 2nd SIAA Award

The Service Industry Advertising Awards has recognized Building Indiana News with its top prize – the Gold Award – for best external publication at the 6th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) for 2008. This marks the second time Building Indiana News, a business-to-business publication, has been named a SIAA recipient. It won a Silver Award in 2007.

SIAA recognizes creativity and communication excellence in the service industry. A national panel of judges evaluated nearly 1,200 entries from more than 250 advertising agencies and 900 service institutions across 27 categories.

But don’t think this means we’re going to slack off now. :D   We’re going to keep bringing you Northern Indiana’s important economic development, construction, health, and workforce news in every issue.  The March/April issue comes out in just a few weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out!

Building Indiana News is happy to welcome Jean Fostini as our Office Manager.  She comes to us with extensive experience.  I don’t have a photo or many details yet, but as soon as I get them I’ll let you know!

Just a quick note that registration for the Northwest Indiana Construction Awards Banquet (also known as the CAF/NWIBRT Awards Banquet) is now open.  To register, please click here.  Please note that this event sold out last year and WILL sell out again.  This is the largest networking event for the industry, so don’t miss out!  Sponsorships are still available but will sell out soon!
