A Dubois County plastics firm is expanding.
Huntingburg, Ind.-based Fibertech is in the process of moving into a building in Elberfeld, Ind. near the intersection of I-64 and I-164.
The company’s business activities encompass three areas: making plastic containers and pallets for the food industry; buying and reprocessing scrap plastic; and custom-molding plastic products for customers in a variety of industries.
Fibertech has already started readying its new building and moving its equipment, Girard said, and it should be up and running at its new Elberfeld location in November.
The company plans to expand its workforce by up to 30 additional workers.
